Fashion or comfort? Can I have both?

Being fashionable in the clothes that you wear is seen by some people as important to their self esteem and general happiness and this is why high street fashion outlets continue to thrive in a competitive market.

Being on trend often means changing items in your wardrobe on a seasonal basis to keep up with new fashion styles and designs although some shoppers become adept at adapting clothing they already have and bringing the items up to date by adding accessories, shortening the length of garments or re-purposing items. Buying new items of clothing can be expensive unless you use some of the online stores where generally the garments are made in a different country with cheaper production costs.

Wearing clothes that are fashionable yet comfortable is important for many people especially so for those older shoppers and it is possible to have both if you are a savvy shopper. Choosing clothing that is made from natural fibres such as linen and cotton will usually ensure that the items are comfortable to wear and cool in the summer whilst looking out for clothing made from stretchy materials will mean that the garments will not fit too tightly.

In some cases, it is not the garments themselves that are in fashion or not, but it is the way in which they are worn, so it is a good idea to look in fashion magazines or online for fashion tips and trends.
