Hi-Tops are a difficult fashion sneakers to style. Trying to fend off the ‘he’s too old to wear hi-tops’ is annoying, but if you wear them in the right way, then you will be fine.

When considering colour, always keep it simple. Don’t be daring and wear multi-coloured hi-tops. Of course, showing a bit of personality with design on your sneakers is fine, but not to the level where people compare you to a rainbow!

When choosing an outfit, go for something simple. Denim jeans are usually the best, in terms of complimenting hi-top sneakers. If you’re dressing for a casual occasion, then having the laces looser to show the sneaker tongue is acceptable.
